I am so lucky! I have the best job in the world.
I have the honour every day of walking alongside another person for a little distance to help them to look inside themselves and discover the vast realm of transformational possibilities nestling within - just waiting to be revealed.
In living my dream and doing what I love I am given permission to assist others to do the same. How much better can it get?
In my work as a leadership coach and a life coach for over twenty years now I feel thoroughly blessed to have been able to play a role in and witness this transformational process countless times.
I am passionate (to say the least!) about and deeply fascinated by what we could call ‘the human condition’. That is, the tendency of most of us to feel limited as to what we can dare to do, dare to achieve, dare to BE in our lives. There seem to be so many life circumstances, events, people, inner wobbliness that convince us that there are limitations and boundaries beyond which we must not tread. I know this so well and dwelled in this land for many years.
And by means of: going into the heart of the dark place; studying the works of inspired masters, teachers, scientists, thinkers, leadership gurus; practice; meditation; training, workshops, serendipitous encounters and a swathe of 'magical coincidences’ I eventually emerged blinking into a surprising sunlight and realised that: ’There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy’. So it is in sharing this, (not my own journey, but Hamlet’s realisation) that I am living my dream.

The essence of my work as a coach is accompanying individuals seeking to gain personal mastery and to make a change or transformation in some area of their life, personal or professional.
If these individuals have a leadership or managerial role within an organisation, my aim is to help this organisation to create an inspiring, high performing and 'well-being oriented' culture by maximising their leaders’ potential through one-to-one leadership coaching as well as through training its leaders in basic coaching skills.
Leadership drives culture and culture drives performance, so it is essential for organisations to consciously design the culture they want to embed within the company rather than simply allowing a culture to emerge by default while it focuses on the nuts and bolts of the business side. This approach is guaranteed to create a culture which rewards business results at the expense of taking care of the people who produce them. More on this on the leadership coaching page.
